1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Biblical Man mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Biblical Man is a mobile application providing biblical content, daily devotionals, character studies, topical references, and related features designed to help men engage with Scripture and grow in their faith.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the App or other users.

4. Content

4.1 Biblical Content

The App provides access to canonical Scripture (66 books of the Protestant Bible) and optional Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical texts. All biblical content is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

4.2 Hebrew Names

The App offers the option to display Hebrew names (e.g., Elohim, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏) alongside or instead of traditional English names. This feature is provided for educational and devotional purposes.

4.3 User Content

Any content you submit through the App (including but not limited to prayer requests) remains your property. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the App.

5. Purchases

5.1 One-Time Purchase

Biblical Man operates on a one-time purchase model. After purchase, you gain lifetime access to the App's features.

5.2 Charitable Proceeds

Proceeds from app purchases are directed to charitable organizations. By purchasing the App, you acknowledge that your payment supports these charitable efforts.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) through which you made your purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by MyShop Enterprises Pty Ltd. The Biblical Man name, logo, and branding are trademarks of MyShop Enterprises Pty Ltd.

Scripture quotations are used under applicable fair use provisions and/or license agreements with their respective copyright holders.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Religious Content Disclaimer

The content in this App represents one interpretation of Scripture and is intended for devotional and educational purposes. We encourage users to study Scripture for themselves and consult with their local church or spiritual leaders.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
